Olajide Akoni is a creative writer, voice artist and poet. His works are typically characterized by highly imaginative tales/poetic narrations with christian and inspirational themes.
He has been the voice narrator of an international award winning production, ‘Omoluabi Documentary, Gyrow (featured as songwriter/voice cast ), a short film animation, songwriter ‘Bring Back Our Conscience ‘, a short film performed poetry at various places like British Council, Lagos, and Goethe Institut (‘Twelve Squares’), Lagos. He has written short stories & articles for online media platforms like Hard Choices 1 & 2 on Omojuwa.com and A Savior called Entrepreneur on Transparent Nigeria. Olajide’s works also include a comic book script about Nigerian national heroes for 360 learning solutions, among other endeavors. He was the KKB Show Press Club instructor at American International School (AIS), Victoria Island, Lagos until January 2015.
He is passionate about creative writing and has taken several short courses, among which are Acting & Characterization Course at the Daystar Skill Acquisition Program (DSAP), Lagos, Design for New Media at the School of Media and Communication, Pan Atlantic University, Lagos and the Basic & Advanced Leadership courses from Daystar Leadership Academy, Lagos.
